H&CO continued its Espresso Across Borders series with the Spain Edition, held on Tuesday, April 28, bringing together a select group of executives and business leaders to explore opportunities across the Spain–Latin America–U.S. corridor.
Following the momentum of the inaugural session, this edition reinforced the firm’s commitment to creating focused, country-specific conversations that move beyond theory and into actionable strategy.

The room brought together decision-makers actively evaluating expansion, investment, and operational structuring between Spain and key markets in the Americas. Discussions centered on real-world challenges and opportunities, including market entry strategies, cross-border tax considerations, and operational alignment across jurisdictions.
We were also honored to be joined by distinguished speakers, including Jordi Boada, Director of the Miami Office and Country Manager at the Agency for Economic Transformation & Development of Andalusia, and María Dolores Fernández Gómez from the Trade Commission at the Embassy of Spain in Miami. They were joined by Armando Hernandez and Mike Morroni, who shared insights on Spain’s strong economic environment and the growing investment opportunities for companies entering the Spanish market. In particular, Jordi highlighted the unique advantages of the Andalusia region as a strategic gateway for international expansion.

The session focused on practical insights, what it actually takes to expand into or from Spain, and how companies can navigate complexity while maintaining speed and control. This format reflects H&CO’s broader approach: combining local expertise with a global platform to support companies expanding internationally. As a firm operating in more than 30 countries, H&CO continues to position itself as a strategic partner for businesses looking to scale beyond borders. The strong engagement throughout the session highlighted a clear trend: Spain is not just a gateway to Europe, it is increasingly a strategic hub for companies with global ambitions. With the success of the Spain Edition, Espresso Across Borders continues to establish itself as a space for meaningful dialogue among leaders navigating international growth. |
The series will continue next month with a new session, further expanding the conversation across key markets and bringing together executives focused on international growth.
